因为陀斐特那烧着的火早已安排好了，是为君王预备的，又深又宽；

For Tophet is ordained of old ; yea , for the king it is prepared ;

This is what I will do to this place , says the lord , and to its people , making this town like topheth .

He desecrated Topheth , which was in the Valley of Ben Hinnom , so no one could use it to sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to Molech .

And they have built the high places of Tophet , which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom , to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire ;

Then came Jeremiah from Tophet , whither the LORD had sent him to prophesy ; and he stood in the court of the LORD 's house ; and said to all the people

Therefore , behold , the days come , saith the LORD , that this place shall no more be called Tophet , nor The valley of the son of Hinnom , but The valley of slaughter .

And they have put up the high place of Topheth in the valley of the son of hinnom , burning their sons and their daughters there in the fire ; a thing which was not ordered by me and never came into my mind .
