于是大卫送押尼珥走，押尼珥就平平安安的去了。

And David sent Abner away , and he went in peace .

押尼珥和百姓躺卧在他周围。

And Abner and the people lay around him .

押尼珥说，王阿，我指着你的性命起誓，我不知道。

And Abner said , On your life , O king , I have no idea .

一日，伊施波设对押尼珥说，你为什麽与我父亲的妃嫔同房呢？

And Abner said , As thy soul liveth , O king , I cannot tell .

王为押尼珥举哀、说、押尼珥何竟像愚顽人死呢。

And the king lamented over Abner , and said , Died Abner as a fool dieth ?

押尼珥打发人去见大卫，替他说，这国归谁呢。

And Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf , saying , whose is the land ?

押尼珥对约押说，让少年人起来，在我们面前戏耍吧。

And Abner said to Joab , Let the young men now arise , and play before us .

押尼珥打发使者到大卫所在之处去见他，说，这地归谁呢？

And Abner sent messengers to David where he was , saying , to whom shall the land belong ?

押尼珥回头说，你是亚撒黑吗？回答说，是。

Then abner , looking back , said , is it you , asahel ? And he said , it is I.

扫罗的元帅名叫押尼珥，是尼珥的儿子。尼珥是扫罗的叔叔。

The name of the commander of Saul 's army was Abner son of Ner , and Ner was Saul 's uncle .

那日的战事凶猛、押尼珥和以色列人、败在大卫的仆人面前。

Both of them-Abner son of Ner , commander of Israel 's army , and Amasa son of Jether , commander of Judah 's army-were better men and more upright than he .

扫罗家和大卫家争战的时候，押尼珥在扫罗家大有权势。

And it came to pass , while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David , that Abner made himself strong for the house of Saul .

And Abner sent men to David at hebron , saying , make an agreement with me , and I will give you my support in getting all Israel on your side .

Now you yourself know what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me-what he did to the two commanders of Israel 's armies , Abner son of Ner and Amasa son of Jether .
