John Liu , a former China executive for South Korean mobile carrier SK Telecom who has recently led Google 's sales team in Greater China , will become vice president of sales and operations .

This accounts for a very substantial part of our China revenues , said Mr Liu .

Mr Liu said he considered the Chinese display ads market much larger than that for search ads.
