Michael Yu , chairman of New Oriental , a language school company , said he knew of several entrepreneurs who would like to set up charitable foundations if the process were easier .

同时，新东方更为重视俞敏洪所说的“vip教学”，以迎合能够负担得起更多个性化课程的新一代中国学子。

There is also greater emphasis on what Mr Yu calls " VIP teaching " , a response to a new generation of Chinese students who can afford more customised courses .

Mr Yu recognises that New Oriental needs to adapt its educational offering to stay ahead of the competition .

俞敏洪还说，注意力应该从线下教育转移到线上教育的发展，否则的话新东方则不能存活下去。

Attention needs to be shifted from offline to online development , otherwise New Oriental wont survive , Mr. Yu said .

新方案预计于2016年开始实行。但是俞敏洪指出，这只是表面的变化而非实际的改革。

The new method is expected to begin in 2016 but Yu said it 's more of a superficial change than an actual reform .

除了来自妻子的压力之外，俞敏洪表示，他之所以创办新东方，也是由于他没能获得美国大学的奖学金。

Besides pressure from his wife , Mr Yu says he was motivated to start new Oriental after failing to secure a scholarship to an American University .

俞敏洪并不满足于做一位管理大师，他还希望成为志向更为远大的新一代中国人的精神领袖。

Not content with being a management guru , he hopes to become a spiritual leader ' ' for a new and more ambitious generation of Chinese .

俞敏洪笑称：这一次她希望我更多时间呆在家里，现在她认为我挤不出时间，所以还是个失败者。

Mr Yu jokes this time she wants me to stay more at home and now thinks I 'm a loser for not managing to squeeze in the time .

因此，为了筹到足够的钱让自己去美国留学，俞敏洪干起了业余语言家教，同时还在北京大学教授英语。

So , Mr Yu tried to raise enough funds to send himself to the US by moonlighting as a private language tutor while also teaching English at Peking University .

俞敏洪表示，只有高考取消英语才能让学生基于兴趣决定在英语上花多少时间，投入多少的精力。

Only by excluding English from the gaokao can students decide how much and how hard they work on learning English based on the specialty that interests them , Yu said .

俞敏洪说：你看看像北京这样的城市，每天都会举行一次国际活动，显然非常需要会说英语的人才。

Mr Yu says : If you look at a city such as Beijing , there 's an international event every day , so English speakers are clearly in great demand .

That American challenge is taken seriously by a man who prefers to be called Michael outside China and has maintained his admiration for the US in spite of his scholarship failures .
