This paper briefly reviews the current research work on Mongolian materia medica in China , including the chemical compositions , pharmacological effects , process of preparation , improvement of drug form and development of new drugs .

It was proposed in this paper to enhance transformation of ideology and improve the products quality and inspection technology , consolidate mechanism reformation and develop new products actively to contend for initiative and win victory in facing the challenges brought by REACH .
