为满足卫星应用领域对高分辨率遥感图像实时传输与存储的要求，针对该类图像特征，提出基于空间域四叉树数据结构的图像数据亚采样与多模式自适应预测编码相结合的压缩算法。
In order to resolve the contradiction between the need of high image quality and low data rates in data transmission and storage in the fields of satellite remote sensing , a new compression algorithm of combining spatial quarter-tree data architecture with multi-mode adaptive quantization technique is proposed .
