舌动脉全程可分为4段，即：起始段、舌骨舌肌段、升段和水平段。

Lingual artery can be divided into four segment : origin segment , hyoglossus segment , ascending segment , horizontal segment .

舌下神经向上、向前、向下均有分支，分别到达茎突舌肌、舌骨舌肌、颏舌肌、甲状舌骨肌、颏舌骨肌。

Hypoglossal nerve has branches upwards , forwards , downwards . These branches reach at styloglossus muscle , hyoglossus muscle , genioglossus muscle , thyrohyoideus muscle and geniohyoideus muscle respectively .
