善恶树

上帝警告亚当说，如果他吃了那棵识别善恶树上的果子，就必定死。

God warned Adam that if he ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil , he would surely die .

只是分别善恶树上的果子，你不可吃，因为你吃的日子必定死！

But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil , for when you eat of it you will surely die .

除了在他们心中写下的律法以外，他们还领受「不可吃分别善恶树上的果子」的命令；

In addition to this law written in their hearts , they received a command not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ( k ) .

你还记得那棵树的名字吗？就是识别善恶树。撒旦诡诈地回答说：“你们不一定死。因为神知道，你们吃的日子眼睛就明亮，你们便如神能知道善恶。”

Satan gave a deceitful reply : " You will not surely die , for God knows that the day you eat of that tree , you shall be as gods , knowing good and evil . "

园子当中又有生命树和分别善恶的树。

In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil .

耶和华神使各样的树从地里长出来，可以悦人的眼目，其上的果子好作食物。园子当中又有生命树和分别善恶的树。

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight , and good for food ; the tree of life also in ( 1 ) the garden , and the tree of knowledge of good and evil .

他嘱咐这人说：“你可以随意采食园中任何树上之果实，惟独那能辨善恶之知识树果子你不能吃。你吃它之时，你就会死去！”

He told the man ," you may eat from every tree in the garden , but not from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ; for on the day that you eat from it , you will certainly die . "
