In the paper , phenanthrenequinone was prepared by oxidation of phenanthrene (( 84.21 % )) with halogen compound in the presence of glacial acetic acid . The yield of phenanthrenequinone can reach 63.23 % . Chief influential factors and optimum processing condition of this reaction were discussed .
