本文以城市雕塑老子像为例，研究公共艺术中的环境雕塑这个课题，提出环境雕塑不但要正确把握和理解作品的内涵，而且要寻求雕塑作品与环境的和谐统一。
This paper discusses the public environment sculpture , taking the city sculpture of Laozi statue as an example and suggests that we should not only understand the connotation of the sculpture works correctly but also try to seek the harmonious coordination between sculptures and the environment .
