To investigate inhibition of the antiatherosclerotic plaque formation mechanism of aerobic exercise and low fat diet , we studied the effects of 10-week aerobic exercise and low fat diet on the atherosclerotic plaque area in the aorta and liver SR-B1 mRNA and SR-B1 protein level in ApoE-Deficient mice .

The results imply that higher SR - B1 gene and protein level caused by aerobic exercise and low fat diet may be one of the potential antiatherosclerotic mechanisms .
