The results showed that the leaves of S.davidii were elliptic , with an area 0.144 ~ 0.208 cm ~ 2 and a thickness 171.58 ~ 195.83 μ m.

这两个变种与川西白刺花变种之间的遗传分化可能与形态上叶片大小差异有关，而变种间表型分异反映了对环境改变的表型可塑性。

And their genetic divergence from the third variety appears to be relative to their slight morphological difference in leaf size and the divergent environmental niche spaces they occupy .
