王母娘娘

有一天，王母娘娘来到凡间。

One day , the Queen of Heaven came down to Earth .

那时，天上的王母娘娘有个漂亮的小女儿。

She was the youngest and she was good at weaving .

不幸的是，王母娘娘发现了这件事，把织女押回了天庭。

Unfortunately , the Queen Mother found out the fact and brought the Weave Maid back .

然而后羿没有理会王母娘娘的警告，他被名利冲昏了头脑，变成了一个暴君。

Hou Yi ignored her advice and , corrupted by fame and fortune , became a tyrannical leader .

但是当王母娘娘得知织女嫁给一个凡人后，勃然大怒，强行把织女带回天上。

But the Goddess of Heaven found out that Zhin ü, a fairy girl , had married a mere mortal .

王母娘娘也被牛郎织女一家人的真挚情感打动了，只好准许他们每年七月初七相会一次。

The family 's true feeling moved the Empress too and she had to permit them to meet every seventh day of the seventh lunar month .

为了奖励后羿，王母娘娘赐给后羿一种长生不老药，但是王母警告他必须正当使用。

As his reward , the Heavenly Queen Mother gave Hou Yi the Elixir of Immortality , but she warned him that he must use it wisely .

然而不幸的是，天庭的玉皇大帝和王母娘娘得知他们的孙女（织女和他们是这种关系？）

Unfortunately , the King and Queen of Heaven were furious finding out that their granddaughter had gone to the world of Man and taken a husband .

牛郎拉着自己的儿女，一起腾云驾雾上天去追织女，眼见就要追到了，岂知王母娘娘拔下头上的金簪一挥，一道波涛汹涌的天河就出现了.牛郎和织女被隔在两岸。

The Herd Boy , with their two children , ran after the Weaving Girl , but the Lady Queen mother took out her hairpin and drew a river between them .

但是好景不长，这事很快便让织女的母亲--王母娘娘知道了。她非常气愤，强行把织女带回天上。

Then the fairy 's mother - the Lady Queen Mother learnt about this and she was so angry that she had her daughter , the Weaving Girl , taken back to heaven by force .

据说，雪是王母娘娘的女儿雪白女，为了寻找她下凡时曾爱过的一个人而落下的，可是那个人早已离开人世。

It is said that the snow is the Queen Mother 's daughter , white female , in order to find her , he loved and fall of a person , but that person has already passed away .

他们的忠贞爱情感动了大家，千万只喜鹊飞来，搭成鹊桥，让牛郎织女走上鹊桥相会，王母娘娘对此也无奈，只好允许两人在每年七月七日于鹊桥相会。

People were very sympathetic with the couple , and to help them ， thousands of swallows formed a bridge across the river on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month so that they could meet each other once a year .

每年3月3日那天，王母娘娘摆完蟠桃宴，玉帝就带领各路神仙，到万香山来观赏长寿花。

On the third day of the third moon each year which is the day the Fairy Mother Queen gives her banquet of peaches , the Jade Emperor will take the gods after the banquet to the Mountain of Ten Thousand Fragrances to see the longevity flower .

Their loyalty to love touched magpies , so tens of thousands of magpies came to build a bridge for the Cowhand and Weaver Maid to meet each other . The Queen Mother was eventually moved and allowed them to meet each year on the 7th of the 7th lunarmonth .
