    Results : All patients were examined by ultrasound and carotid magnetic resonance angiography ( MRA ) routinely and classified as Shamblin I and ⅱ type before operation . The correctness rate of diagnosis by ultrasound and carotid MRA was 95.8 % and 100 % , respectively .
