The newly developed imidazoline type corrosion inhibitor , WS-1 , was commercially used in the HCl-H_2S-O_2-H_2O corrosive medium in the cooling / condensing system at the top of crude oil distillation tower and its inhibition effect on corrosion of equipments and pipes was investigated .
