在阿姆斯特丹东边的艾瑟尔堡（ijburg），从运输航道中挖上来的将沙子将会堆成一座新岛，届时能满足700户家庭住房的需要，首批居民预定2017年入住。

At ijburg , on the east side of the city , a new island with homes for 700 families will be created out of sand dredged from shipping channels . The first residents should be moving in by 2017 .

以后，连接起来的新岛又跟邻近的群岛衔接，久而久之，从新西兰和新喀里多尼亚岛起，至马贵斯群岛止，便要出现一个新大陆，那就是未来的第五大洲。

Later on , this new island will be fused to its neighboring island groups , and a fifth continent will stretch from New Zealand and New Caledonia as far as the Marquesas Islands .
