THrough investigating the palmomental reflex in 840 normal persons and 240 cases of neuropathy , it was discovered that in the normal group , the reflex induced rate was higher in the persons under two years or over 50 years of age .

本文报告3162例健康人的掌颏反射和Hoffmann反射的调查结果，两个反射的阳性率分别为14.8%和0.25%，同时阳性者极少，无一致性。

The results of the investigation of the palm-chin reflex and Hoffmann reflex in 3162 healthy individuals are reported . The results showed that the positive rate of palm-chin reflex and Hoffmann reflex was 14.80 % and 0.25 % , respectively .
