The etiological cause of 96 patients with premature ovarian failure was analyzed . The result suggested that the main cause of premature ovarian failure might be the deficiency or decrease in the number of primordial germ cells , which results from genetic disposition , chromosomal abnormalities and ovarian dysgenesis .
