A kind of high precision Optical Fibre Cleaver which can cleave singlemode and multimode fibres is introduced in this paper . The cutting principle of fibres is analysed . The designs of fixed position mechanism , tension mechanism , spring mechanism and double-protective mechanism are discussed .
