亚舍拉

亚舍拉与我们立盟约。

Asherah has made ( a pact ) with us .

他将邱坛焚烧，打碎成灰，并焚烧了亚舍拉像。

And he burned the high place and beat it into dust and burned the Asherah .

他们离弃耶和华他们列祖神的殿，去事奉亚舍拉和偶像。

They abandoned the temple of the Lord , the God of their fathers , and worshiped Asherah poles and idols .

亚撒王贬了他祖母玛迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亚舍拉。

King Asa also deposed his grandmother Maacah from her position as queen mother , because she had made a repulsive Asherah pole .

亚哈又作亚舍拉，他所行的惹耶和华以色列神的怒气，比他以前的以色列诸王更甚。

And Ahab made a grove ; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him .

他们离弃耶和华他们列祖神的殿，去事奉亚舍拉和偶像。因他们这罪，就有忿怒临到犹大和耶路撒冷。

And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers , and served groves and idols : and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass .

But still they did not give up the sin of jeroboam , which he made Israel do , but went on with it ; and there was an image of Asherah in samaria .

亚撒王贬了他祖母玛迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亚舍拉。亚撒砍下她的偶像，捣得粉碎，烧在汲沦溪边。

And ASA would not let maacah , his mother , be queen , because she had made a disgusting image for asherah ; and ASA had her image cut down and broken up and burned by the stream kidron .

他重建他父亲希西家所毁坏的邱坛，又为巴力立坛，造亚舍拉像，就如以色列王亚哈所行的，且敬拜事奉天上的万象。

And he rebuilt the high places that Hezekiah his father had destroyed , and he raised up altars to Baal and made an asherah , as Ahab the king of Israel had done ; and he worshipped all the host of heaven and served them .
