本文综述了香稻米的营养品质，香味的化学成份、鉴定方法与遗传，营养元素对香味的影响，以及香稻育种研究方面的进展。

In this paper , progress of studies on scented rice was summarized involving nutritional qualities of scented rice , chemical composition , inheritance of aroma , effect of nutritional elements on scent and varietal improvement of aromatic rice varieties .

The author conducted experiments by growing scented rice in pots and studied the influence of micro elements including Cu , Zn , Mn and Me on scented rice yield and quality . The results indicate that application of micro elements fertilizer to soil leads to the increase of yield .
