方法：以1998年揭阳市区1549例糖尿病普查的自然人群、揭阳市人民医院职工健康体检及处级以上干部健康体检和门诊患者并自愿参加研究者为研究对象。
METHODS : Totally 1 549 volunteers were selected from Jieyang city in 1998 , including normal crowd for DM survey , employees and cadres for physical examination and outpatients in Jieyang People 's Hospital .
