2013年在广州恒大足球俱乐部夺得亚洲足球冠军联赛的冠军后，人民大学和恒大合作在人大建立第一个这样的足球学院。
After Guangzhou Evergrande football club won the Asian Champions League in 2013 , it set up a football school with Renmin University of China that is the first of its kind in China .

目前该学院已有20多名教师，同时学院还与广州一家足球俱乐部协作，共同对教练员和裁判员进行培训。此外，还将会把足球专业知识带到省内的农村中小学当中去。
With more than 20 teachers , the academy has teamed up with a local club in coaches and referees training and will also bring soccer expertise to primary and secondary schools in rural areas of the province .
