Methods : Fao was purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation and phenyl-Sepharose HR5 / 5 chromatography . SDS-PAGE was used to determine the molecular weight of fao . The Km , acidic and alkaline stability , and substrate specificity of the recombinant long-chain fatty acid alcohol oxidase were analyzed .
