Pilate ordered Jesus to be brought forth

彼拉多命令把耶稣带上来。

Pilate sent guards to watch the tomb day and night .

彼拉多派人日夜看守坟墓。

Evil men came as false witnesses to lie to Pilate .

但是有恶人到彼拉多面前来做假见证。

Jesus ' enemies again went to Pilate .

那些恨耶稣的人又去到罗马的巡府彼拉多那里。

Do you think Jesus ' enemies gave Him a fair trial ？ When Pilate , the Roman governor , questioned Jesus , he could find no fault in Him .

你觉得那些恨耶稣的人会公平地审判他吗？当罗马的巡府彼拉多审问耶稣的时候，他找不到耶稣有什么罪。

The angry people shouted out , " Crucify Him ! Crucify Him ! " Finally Pilate was persuaded to let the crowd have their way , and they led Jesus out to crucify Him .

愤怒的人群喊叫著说：“钉他十字架！钉他十字架！”最后彼拉多向这些人屈服，把耶稣带出去钉十字架。

Going to Pilate , he asked for Jesus ' body .

这人去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体。

" You are a king , then !" said Pilate .

彼拉多就对他说，这样，你是王么。

Pilate called together the chief priests , the rulers and the people .

彼拉多传齐了祭司长，和官府，并百姓。

And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required .

彼拉多这才照他们所求的定案。

Pilate brought Jesus out before the people .

比拉多将耶稣带到众人前面来。

Pilate answered , What I have written I have written .

22彼拉多说，我所写的，我已经写上了。

Pilate was one of these direct Roman rulers of Judea .

彼拉多是朱迪亚的罗马直接统治者之一。

Some people had told him about the death of a number of persons through Pilate 's actions .

事缘有人告诉他，彼拉多处死了许多人。

Then said Pilate unto them , Take ye him , and judge him according to your law .

31彼拉多说：你们自己带他去，按着你们的律法审问他罢。犹太人说：我们没有杀人的权柄。

And Pilate asked him , Art thou the King of the Jews ?

彼拉多问他说，你是犹太人的王吗。

Then Pilate said unto them , Why , what evil hath he done ?

彼拉多说，为什么呢，他作了什么恶事呢。

But Jesus yet answered nothing ; so that Pilate marvelled .

耶稣仍不回答、以致彼拉多觉得希奇。

The crowd came up and asked Pilate to do for them what he usually did .

众人上去求巡抚，照常例给他们办。

The people reporting the incidence were not trying to make a charge against Pontius Pilate .

人们把这件事告诉耶稣并不是要控告本丢彼拉多。

And that day Herod and Pilate became friends with one another , for before they had been against one another .

从前希律和彼拉多彼此有仇。在那一天就成了朋友。

Jn . 19:10 Therefore Pilate said to Him , You do not speak to me ?

约十九10彼拉多对他说，你不对我说话么？

Jn . 18:37 Pilate said therefore to Him , So then You are a king ?

约十八37彼拉多就对他说，这样，你不是王么？

Jn . 18:31 Pilate said then to them , You take Him and judge Him according to your law .

约十八31彼拉多对他们说，你们自己把他带去，按著你们的律法审判他吧。犹太人说，我们杀人是不可的。

Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered .

彼拉多就吩咐给他。

And the whole multitude of them arose , and led him unto pilate .

众人都起来、把耶稣解到彼拉多面前。

20 wanting to release jesus , Pilate appealed to them again .

20彼拉多愿意释放耶稣，就又劝解他们。

Pilate could find no fault in Him and tried to avoid a decision by sending Christ to Herod .

彼拉多找不出祂有任何罪行，为了避免作决定，便将基督送到希律那里；

Pilate then went out unto them , and said , What accusation bring ye against this man ?

彼拉多就出来、到他们那里、说、你们告这人是为甚麽事呢。

Pilate , though having a strong will and independent spirit , is just a weak defender of African culture .

姑母彼拉多虽然有坚强的意志和独立的精神，但是作为非洲黑人文化遗产的保护者却显得苍白无力。
